Has working knowledge and skills in the HR body of knowledge through training and work experience. Identifies issues within assigned tasks and brings them to the attention of more senior personnel. May take on more complex administrative tasks with less supervision. In addition, this role will provide Tier 2 level support to the HR Help Desk and provide primary and secondary backup coverage for front desk duties as needed as well as serve as a knowledge resource to HR Office Assistants. * Complete assigned tasks in support of HR specialty functions (Administrative, Employment, HRIS, Onboarding, Benefits, Compensation, Retirement, Leave) * Perform data entry in assigned internal and external systems as necessary * Maintain procedural documentation for assigned tasks. * Ability to multi-task and accomplish ongoing tasks and project assignments in an accurate and timely manner with minimal supervision from senior staff. * Provide primary and secondary coverage for the HR Help Desk * Provide Tier 2 support for HR related queries. Resolve and escalate tickets as necessary  * Process HR phone calls, visitors, email and online contacts *  Handle employee and organization information in a confidential manner * Provide customer service in a friendly and compassionate manner that demonstrates hospital values. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Business, Human Resources, Organization Development, Healthcare Administration, Preferred  * 2-4 years of HR administration experience * Alternative: High School graduate with 4+ years of HR administration experience with some experience as an admin to an HR specialty function About Stamford Health Stamford Health is a non-profit independent health care system with more than 3,800 employees committed to caring for the community through a wide range of high-quality health and wellness services.
