This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Human Resources team at a significant time of change, working collaboratively with a supportive and dedicated team to deliver a first-class customer service.
The HR Systems and Data Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing the University’s HR systems to ensure operational, strategic, and statutory requirements are efficiently met.
In addition to leading on the scheduling, testing and implementation of any system updates required by the system provider/s, the role holder will also be responsible for proactively identifying opportunities for system improvement and leading on the implementation of approved changes. The HR Systems and Data Manager will provide excellent technical and operational advice and guidance to all HR system/s users, whilst also offering expert knowledge on data management and reporting. Liaising with key stakeholders to foster an understanding of areas for potential improvement will be a vital part of this role.
This is a varied role, so flexibility, high levels of enthusiasm and professional approach will be a key requirement along with strong relationship building and people skills. This role will suit an individual who has strong IT skills, experience of manipulating data on multiple systems and excellent attention to detail. The ability to handle confidential information in accordance with GDPR and Data protection legislation is key.
