HR Tech Lead HR Tech Lead Location - Leeds Hybrid Permanent We are seeking an experienced HR Tech Lead to oversee the functional configuration and delivery of Workday (and the connecting systems) within a large-scale HR Transformation project. This role will drive the end-to-end functional implementation of Workday (and the connecting systems) across multiple countries, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and business units (particularly with our Design Team) to ensure seamless integration and functionality across the organization. The role will also be accountable for ensuring Workday aligns with ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) operations. It will also be key to create a toolkit and develop accelerator tools to allow Flutter to rollout these deployments at pace and without a partner About Flutter In Flutter COO we work with experts across Flutter to build, deploy and communicate the Flutter Edge. Together we cover Product & Payments, Technology, Sportsbook Product & Trading, People, Property, Corporate Communications and Strategic Partnerships & Transformation. What you’ll do Program Delivery: Lead the functional configuration and implementation of Workday across all modules (HCM, Recruitment, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Reward, Talent, and Performance) to support a multi-country HR Transformation program. Team Leadership: Lead this area from a Flutter perspective whilst also holding the partner to account – act as a point of escalation for the team and report up to the Deployment Lead and Solution Architect. Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between technical and business stakeholders, effectively translating technical requirements into clear, business-friendly language to facilitate decision-making. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in close partnership with the Integrations Lead, Senior Data Lead, Senior Test Lead, and Tech Delivery Manager to ensure seamless functional delivery, data security, and system integration. Alignment with BAU Operations: Ensure the program's deliverables remain compatible with ongoing BAU HR functional work, providing balance and continuity across teams. Escalation and Reporting: Report and escalate any critical issues or dependencies to the Solutions Architect and Deployment Lead, ensuring proactive risk management and project timeline adherence. Toolkit creation: By creating a toolkit alongside developing some accelerator tools the role will need to ensure Flutter develops the capability to deliver these deployments from a technical perspective at pace and without vendor assistance What you’ll need Several years’ experience having managed a product related to HR/People Technology and delivering people tech solutions to HR and the wider business. Extensive hands-on experience configuring and implementing Workday, including specialized modules like Payroll, Recruitment, Time Tracking, and others. Experience leading a team within a fast-paced, multi-country environment across multiple Workday modules. Ability to offer guidance and advice on the Workday configuration and ensure cross-module considerations. Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to handle conflicting priorities and deliver on time. Ability to translate complex technical details into business-friendly language, fostering effective communication with non-technical stakeholders. Collaborating with experienced executives and interdisciplinary groups, highlighting teamwork in solving challenges together. Shown experience identifying and delivering first class HR interactive experiences.
