At our facility in Scarborough you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Packaging team as the HR Technician :

• Enter data into payroll and HR systems for creating positions and employee life events
• Participate in administrative activities for talent recruitment, onboarding, and temporary staffing
• Serve as a resource for employees on practices, programs, benefits, and disability management
• Support workforce deployment planning and organize training activities
• Address pay, benefits, HR programs, and system-related queries from supervisors and employees
• Handle full-cycle hourly recruitment, new hire orientation, and exit interviews
• Manage payroll tasks, update employment trackers, handle short-term disability claims, and assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities
• Update the Training Matrix with new training and identify upcoming training needs
