HR Technology & Innovation Intern Valkyrie is a proud participant in the InternshipsVA program Purpose: * Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a HR Technology & Innovation Intern in Virginia Beach, VA to support HR operations, workforce analytics, and process improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys learning new technologies, solving problems, and finding innovative ways to improve processes. * The intern will gain hands-on experience with recruiting, onboarding, HR systems, reporting, workforce analytics, and automation projects while helping improve the employee experience through technology and data-driven solutions. Job Description: * Support recruiting and onboarding activities. * Maintain employee records and assist with HRIS data management. * Assist with HR reporting, workforce metrics, and data analysis. * Support process improvement and workflow automation initiatives. * Help identify opportunities to streamline manual HR processes. * Assist with employee engagement, training, and communication programs. * Participate in HR technology and special project initiatives. * Conduct HRIS data audits and support system testing as needed. Qualifications: * Must be currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field. * Must have a strong interest in technology, innovation, and process improvement. * Must be comfortable learning new software and systems. * Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. * Must have the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Desired Qualifications: * Experience with Excel, reporting, or data analysis through coursework, projects, or previous work experience, preferred. * Interest in HR Operations, HR Technology, People Analytics, or Business Operations, preferred.
