Kick-start your HR career with a global tech company Are you studying Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field at a University of Applied Sciences and looking to begin your career in HR? Beneq is looking for a HR Trainee to join our People & Culture team in Espoo. This internship gives you a unique overview of how a global HR function operates in an international B2B technology environment. You’ll work closely with a small, approachable team: VP, People & Culture and People Operations Lead. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning by doing, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, and wants real hands-on HR experience. What you’ll do As an HR Intern, you’ll support day-to-day People Operations and gain broad exposure to the employee lifecycle. Your tasks may include: Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes and ensuring smooth employee experience. Supporting updates related to employee changes (promotions, transfers, contracts). Helping maintain accurate employee data and HR records. Supporting our HRIS and related tools (e.g., data checks, user support, documentation). Assisting in improving how HR systems are used across the company. Helping with HR reporting and basic data analysis (e.g., headcount, turnover). Serving as a helpful point of contact for everyday HR-related inquiries. Supporting internal People & Culture communications and engagement initiatives. Helping prepare presentations or materials Contributing to developing HR documentation, templates, and workflows. Spotting bottlenecks or improvement ideas and helping implement smarter ways of working. Supporting small HR projects from planning to delivery. What we’re looking for You might be the one we’re looking for if you are: A student in Business Administration, HR, or a related field (UAS / Bachelor-level). You must be completing an internship as part of your studies. Curious about HR and excited to learn how People & Culture supports business success. Comfortable taking initiative, managing multiple tasks, and working independently. Detail-oriented and willing to do both routine and varied tasks. Confident in using digital tools (Excel skills are a plus). Able to communicate clearly in English (Finnish is a plus but not required). Most importantly: you have the right attitude - proactive, positive, and ready to learn. What we offer A paid internship of 6-months with meaningful HR responsibilities.
