Description

Are you passionate about people and driven by development? We’re looking for a proactive and organised HR and Training Coordinator to play a key role in shaping our workplace culture. This is more than just an admin role — it’s your chance to make a real impact by supporting our teams, driving training initiatives, and being the go-to for all things HR. From onboarding new talent and coordinating development plans, to guiding managers through employee relations and championing wellbeing, you’ll be at the heart of creating an engaging and supportive work environment. If you’re ready to grow your career in a role where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team, with a strong focus on Learning & Development. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for training queries, managing approved training requests and coordinating with both course providers and employees to ensure seamless delivery. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate training records, updating training matrices, and ensuring compliance with audit standards. Using the Training Database, you’ll monitor course outcomes, evaluate post-course effectiveness, and help identify and close training gaps in collaboration with department managers. You’ll also play a key role in developing job profiles, supporting annual training plans, and tracking KPIs to continuously improve our learning strategy.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll coordinate a wide range of HR administrative tasks, including recruitment, inductions, onboarding, performance reviews, pay and service awards, and absence-related documentation. You’ll ensure timely and accurate maintenance of employee records, e-files, and databases, while also managing the administration for new starters, leavers, and employment changes. Your attention to detail will be essential in keeping our HR systems up to date and compliant with internal policies and legal requirements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Beyond your day-to-day tasks, you’ll contribute to key HR projects and strategic objectives in line with departmental goals. You’ll conduct exit interviews, help shape future improvements through employee feedback, and ensure all HR data is accurately maintained and processed in accordance with GDPR and internal data policies.

You will need to have a CIPD Level 3 qualification or be working towards this. This role is heavily admin based so good working knowledge of different databases, HR systems, and Microsoft packages, especially Excel would be required.
