ABOUT THE ROLE

MBS Building Supplies is looking for a reliable team member to join our delivery driver and floor staff team in Young.

This is a combined role involving truck deliveries, floor duties and regular manual handling. You’ll need an HR truck licence and a practical approach to safe work.

Pay is up to $36 per hour plus super, depending on skills and ability.

Usual hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, working 40 hours per week with a one-hour lunch break each day. The lunch break’s timing and location are negotiable, whether you’re on the road or back at the shop.

A vehicle salary sacrifice option is available with our new D-MAX. Arrangements can be discussed during the application process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Carry out delivery driving duties.

• Assist with floor duties as part of the team.

• Handle and move materials safely, including regular manual lifting.

• Follow safe working procedures and road rules.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• A current HR truck licence or higher.

• The ability to perform the regular manual handling involved in the role safely.

• A reliable approach to attendance and work.

• A commitment to safe working procedures and road laws.

DESIRABLE, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

• Forklift licence.

• Truck licence higher than HR.

• Manual car licence.
