We are a small business looking for a reliable, hard-working and motivated person to join our team on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in what they do, and is not afraid to get stuck in.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for the collection and management of meat waste from shops and wholesalers, including:

• Driving and operating an HR (Heavy Rigid) truck
• Collecting meat waste from shops and wholesalers
• Safely handling and managing meat waste during collection
• Using hydraulic bin lifts to safely lift and empty waste bins into the truck
• Performing manual labour and physically demanding tasks
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Carrying out routine checks and basic care of the truck and equipment
• Following all relevant workplace health, safety and hygiene requirements
• Working independently & self-Managed while also being a reliable member of our small team

Prerequisites

Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck Driver's Licence

Previous truck driving experience preferred

Good driving record

Physically capable of performing manual labour

Location: Wingfield SA 5013

Pay: Competitive rate, discussed during the recruitment process.

Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime work only. (No Weekends or Public Holidays).
