About the role

Due to ongoing expansion, Super Metal Recycling is seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join our rapidly growing operation based in Dandenong South, servicing Melbourne South-East and regional Victoria.

This is a day-shift role offering consistent work, modern equipment, and regular overtime opportunities. We're looking for professional drivers who know their job, take pride in their driving, and want stable, long-term employment with a company that's growing fast.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HR trucks safely and professionally
• Complete local and regional VIC runs
• Transport scrap metal between customer sites and company yards
• Load and unload using site-provided equipment
• Accurately complete run sheets and paperwork
• Conduct daily pre-start and safety checks
• Comply with road, fatigue, and site safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Valid HR licence (essential)
• Minimum 2 years' experience driving HR trucks (essential)
• Proven reliability and strong work ethic
• Clean driving record
• Experience in recycling, waste, transport, or construction environments (preferred)
• Strong safety focus and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Australian work rights required
