Role Description The HRIS Administrator is a key member of the team, primarily responsible for the configuration, maintenance, integrity, and support of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Rippling. This role serves as the functional expert and first point of contact for system issues, ensuring data accuracy and providing technical support to employees and managers across the organization. The ideal candidate will have foundational HR knowledge and a strong eagerness to develop technical system administration skills. Key Responsibilities System Administration & Maintenance · Serve as the primary system administrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Rippling. · Manage the day-to-day functionality of the Rippling platform, including user access, security permissions, and system configurations (e.g., benefits setup, time-off policies, reporting fields). · Maintain data integrity within the system by performing regular audits, validating data entry, and processing mass updates as needed. · Manage the employee lifecycle processes within Rippling, including onboarding, job changes, transfers, and offboarding. Technical Support & Training · Act as the first point of contact for all Rippling-related questions, issues, and system errors from employees and managers. · Troubleshoot system issues, working directly with Rippling support to resolve technical problems promptly. · Develop and deliver basic training, documentation, and guides for employees and managers on how to effectively use Rippling's various modules. Reporting & Compliance · Develop and generate standard and custom reports for HR, Finance, and leadership (e.g., headcount, turnover, compensation, time-off accruals). · Assist in ensuring HR system processes and data are compliant with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements. · Support the annual benefits open enrollment process within the Rippling platform. Project & Process Improvement · Collaborate with the HR team to identify opportunities for system process improvements and automation within Rippling. · Assist in the testing and implementation of new Rippling features, modules, or integrations. Required Qualifications · 2-5 years of experience in an HR, Payroll, or HRIS support role. · Demonstrated foundational knowledge of core HR concepts, including employee lifecycle, payroll processing, and time & attendance. · Strong technical aptitude and proven ability to quickly learn and master new software systems. · Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and data accuracy. · Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users. Preferred Qualifications · Hands-on experience with Rippling HRIS (implementation, configuration, or administrative experience). · Experience with other HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Gusto) in a support or administrative capacity. · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. · Experience in a fast-paced Small to Mid-sized Business (SMB) environment.
