HRIS ANALYST - FIXED TERM

The Human Resources Department is looking for an individual with information systems skills and experience in Human Resources. The City is working to implement the Workday ERP platform and this position will be directly supporting this project. Candidates with technical expertise in an ERP, such as Workday, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with HRIS platforms, data migration, data conversion, data integration, and data reporting and related skills are strongly encouraged to apply.

CALPERS RETIREMENT PACKAGE

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of:
Analytical concepts and methods.
Office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Education and Experience
Any combination equivalent to education and experience is likely to provide the required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to gain such knowledge and abilities would be:
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree with major course work in information systems, information technology, computer science, public administration, business administration, human resources, or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
Must be available to work outside normal working hours when necessary.
Must be available to work on-site
Highly Desirable Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Familiarity with HRIS platforms and related tools.

Responsibilities
