Description
The HRIS Analyst will lead the administration, optimization, and strategic use of ADP Lyric across the organization. This role will drive system integration efforts, support HR operations, and serve as the key liaison between HR, IT, and ADP. The ideal candidate brings technical knowledge, project management skills, and a deep understanding of HR processes. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact through cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and systems enhancement.   Reports to: Vice President Human Resources   Essential Job Duties:   * Lead the administration and enhancement of ADP Lyric, including data migration, system integration, and stakeholder training. * Collaborate with HR leadership, IT, and ADP's Client Services (CS) Team to develop and execute project plans for system improvements. * Partner with internal departments to understand functional needs, document process workflows, and translate requirements into HRIS configurations. * Serve as the primary contact for the ADP Lyric CS Team to ensure the system aligns with company requirements and compliance needs. * Schedule and lead regular meetings with ADP to review system status, address issues, and ensure progress on enhancements. * Escalate delays or system issues to internal stakeholders. * Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure proper system integration, configuration, and ongoing data integrity. * Design and deliver training programs for HR staff and employees, focusing on industry-specific processes and compliance. * Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth user experience. * Lead data migration and onboarding efforts in ADP Lyric for newly acquired companies. * Communicate HRIS updates and best practices to stakeholders across the organization, with an emphasis on compliance and data security. * Oversee the long-term performance and alignment of ADP Lyric with evolving business and compliance needs. * Identify and implement system improvements in partnership with the vendor. * Manage and resolve data integrity or system functionality issues as they arise. * Partner with internal teams and vendors to create and deliver custom reports and dashboards that align with HR metrics and KPIs. * Ensure HRIS reporting complies with industry-specific regulatory requirements. * Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests from business leaders. * Support HR integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions, including aligning employee data structures, mapping legacy system data, and migrating records into ADP Lyric. * Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Payroll, IT, Legal) to ensure accurate and timely onboarding of acquired employee populations. * Assist in due diligence by assessing data quality, system compatibility, and integration requirements of acquired entities. * Develop project timelines and checklists for HRIS-related M&A activities, ensuring compliance and minimal disruption to operations. Scope of Responsibility:   This is an individual contributor role accountable for executing system-related initiatives and driving continuous improvement efforts. Work is generally self-directed; however, may receive guidance on specific tasks or projects. This position plays a critical role in advancing HR operational objectives through efficient and effective system support.   Qualifications Knowledge and Skill Requirements: * Demonstrated experience leading HRIS projects, including implementation, configuration, and system optimization. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, and data analysis tools to support reporting and system reconciliation. * Strong understanding of HR operations, systems integration, and data integrity best practices. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. * Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate across cross-functional teams. * Familiarity with regulatory requirements and reporting standards relevant to the waste and recycling industry (preferred).   Education & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably ADP systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Physical Demands & Work Environment: * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. * Regularly required to communicate effectively, both in person and via phone or virtual meetings. * Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. * Ability to read and interpret data on a computer screen or printed documents. * Work is performed in a typical office setting with moderate noise and climate control. * Potential for remote or hybrid work arrangements. * May be required to lift up to 30 pounds.   Travel Required:   Travel may be required approximately 10% of the time to onboard teammates at newly acquired companies, support in-person system training, or assist with system implementations at LRS sites.   This job description is designed to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.
