We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.  The HRIS Analyst, People Analytics & Governance combines hands-on HRIS system experience with analytical and governance expertise to support IREN's rapidly scaling, multi-entity workforce. This position plays a critical role in supporting organizational growth by enabling reliable workforce data, reducing manual administration, and improving operational visibility through technology, automation, and AI-enabled analytics. * 3–5 years' experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, Workday, ADP, SAP), including system configuration, implementation, or ongoing administration * Understanding of system control principles, including permission architecture and segregation of duties  * Working knowledge of the employee lifecycle, with the ability to translate it into metrics relevant to different organizational audiences  * Strong analytical skills: data modeling, dashboard development, and BI tooling * Experience applying AI tools to data analysis, reporting, or workflow automation is a strong asset * Working knowledge of data governance, privacy, and HR compliance / audit requirements * Ability to communicate insight clearly to executive audiences * Comfort working with imperfect data and improving its quality over time * Multi-jurisdiction or multi-entity data experience an asset; experience with enterprise HRIS platforms or system consolidation during M&A activity an asset * Establish and maintain data governance standards, definitions, ownership, and data-quality rules across systems * Own audit and regulatory controls for people data, including compliance reporting and evidence of control effectiveness * Automate audit process to ensure data integrity across systems * Develop the data models and infrastructure that support workforce planning as analytics matures from reporting toward prediction * Apply employee lifecycle knowledge to identify and define the metrics that matter at each level of the organization * Build and maintain people analytics dashboards and reporting infrastructure, tailoring depth and focus to the audience * Produce executive and board-level reporting, translating people data into clear, decision-ready insight * Identify and apply AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, data analysis, and repetitive HRIS processes Compensation & Rewards  * Competitive salary ($90,000 and $115,000/annum) finalized based on experience and impact * Short- and long-term incentive programs designed to reward both results and long term company success Wellbeing & Benefits  * Comprehensive extended health and dental coverage to keep you and your family supported * Three weeks of paid vacation to recharge, travel, or simply enjoy more life outside of work Work Environment (Vancouver)  * A modern hybrid model — collaborate in our Vancouver office Tuesday–Thursday, with flexibility the rest of the week * Casual, comfortable attire so you can bring your best self to work without the suit-and-tie * Access to an onsite, fully equipped gym to make wellness part of your workday We value diverse perspectives and believe that skills can be developed.
