POSITION OVERVIEW: The primary focus of the HRIS and Benefits Administrator is to provide advanced knowledge and operational administrative expertise within the HRIS. This role will report to the VP of Human Capital Ops and Total Rewards. This person must ensure compliance with a broad set of applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and guidelines, and serve as the primary user for Dayforce, our client’s HRIS/HCM solution, which streamlines benefits administration tasks and coordinates with their external Leave of Absence administration partner.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Expertise working with Dayforce HRIS is imperative.
  • Experience supporting a multi-state and multi-location environment.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience within a Human Resources capacity with local, state, and federal guidelines in Human Resources operations and employment law.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience working specifically with Dayforce (formerly Ceridian) HRIS, with the Benefits module.
    LOCATIONS: HYBRID or REMOTE, although you MUST live in California, Oregon, or Washington.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as supporting administrator for HR applications, including HRIS/HCM. Stay current and assist colleagues with visibility and comprehension of all applicable system updates and enhancement opportunities, as well as relevant underlying processes and policies.
  • Become the benefit administration lead who will develop strong relationships with vendors, consultants, and IT to troubleshoot system issues and enhancements.
  • Thought partner to the VP of Human Capital Ops and Total Rewards on all things HRIS and Benefits.
  • Administer benefit programs, including but not limited to health and wellness, voluntary plans, retirement, workers’ compensation, and coordinate with the external administrator partner for employee leaves of absence.
  • Support Open Enrollment, New Hire/Qualifying & Event/Termination benefit events, benefit renewal, communications, and annual filings.
