The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for analysis, configuration and testing new system enhancements and updates in support of technology within the HR function The senior analyst will serve as a liaison between HRIS, Global Teams and Regional teams to facilitate issue resolution, system modifications and user requested interface enhancements. The senior analyst may also serve as a mentor to junior HRIS team members Collaborates with system users and stakeholders to evaluate the functional work requirements and recommends solutions for automating and enhancing business processes and integrations supported by technology Understands the impact of, anticipates, plans, creates, and executes test scenarios, and troubleshoots issues resulting from enhancements, configuration changes or system fixes which requires a thorough understanding of the functional process and data Develops written technical requirements when implementing a new system, enhancing an existing system, creating reports, or addressing production issues Initiates systems change request process in vendor system and collaborates with vendor resources to drive the request to completion Collaborate with other departments, team members and vendors daily to develop or enhance systems and to troubleshoot production problems. Communicates with team members and department the results of the testing and determines if further programming is needed Prioritizes all tasks and manages assignments that are required when implementing a new system, creating enhancements for an existing system and a large volume of production fixes Develops, executes and documents audit and quality control processes for maintaining data integrity and security of HR systems Plans, executes and manages multiple HR related projects of varying nature including system upgrades and new software acquisitions to ensure that data integrity and timeliness needs are met Provides post implementation support for software upgrades and maintenance updates Keeps the department apprised of system enhancements and fixes that impact HR systems Creates and maintains departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Assists in prioritizing the enhancements and fixes that are needed Develops and compiles information or prepares reports relating to payroll, recruiting, position classification, compensation, training, equal opportunity, employment, or affirmative action utilizing HRIS systems We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience.
