REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum 6 plus years of experience in a combination of the following areas: application and system development and integration, data modeling/querying/analysis, database management and design, and technical documentation OR High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and 9 plus years of the above stated experience

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Highly proficient in T-SQL, knowledgeable in SSRS
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages with preference in C# or C++
  • Experience with CSS, HTML5 and Bootstrap
  • UI experience with Razor, JavaScript and jQuery

Responsibilities
  • Designs, develops and deploys new custom software with a clear understanding of the value the software is to provide
  • Produces clean, efficient, well-commented code based on requirements and design
  • Analyzes, designs, generates and maintains SQL databases, stored procedures and other database objects
  • Collaborates on UI design and code architecture of new functionality and enhancements to existing applications
  • Troubleshoots complex processes, diagnoses the root cause and provides a stable solution without incurring technical debt
  • Maintains the integrity of the code repository using branching, tagging and pull requests, following industry best practices for version control
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time
