Job Description The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Director is a key member of the HR leadership team, working closely with the VPHR, CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, Payroll Director and other HR stakeholders and cross functional teams in providing analysis and insight that drive action and HR strategy. This role is responsible for the supervision of the daily operations of a 3-person HRIS team. Coordinates with cross-functional internal partners and managers at all levels to design user friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation within the HCM system. Responsibilities Supervise the day-to-day activities of two HR Information Systems Analysts, in these key functions: Administer HCM systems suite security role setup and assigned accesses. Ensure that the HRIS system is appropriately secured and that the integrity of data is not compromised. Conduct monthly/quarterly SOX Compliance audit activities on security access to ensure confidentiality and separation of duties within the HCM suite. Assumes Lead role in testing HCM system updates through production-live completion. Stays informed on upcoming system updates and prepares HRIS testing plan accordingly. Administer Organizational tables within the HCM suite. Partner with HR and the business to understand and define business problems and issues, analyzing data and presenting insights that drive decisions on HR system usage. Understand end-to-end process and underlying data sources to identify data inconsistencies and make recommendations to improve data integrity. Summarize insights and present findings to a range of audiences at all levels within the organization. Continually identify opportunities to innovate and create better systems solutions, focusing on driving efficiencies within the HR organization. Perform regular assessments and improvements to the HRIS, including oversight of all system upgrades and system additions. Keep current on latest trends and best practices for HR systems. Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as business needs change Understand and adhere to data privacy and access policies. Qualifications 7 years of experience with HR systems. 3 years of experience in a leadership role. Advanced understanding of System Security job role builds administration. Strong understanding of relational database design, structure, functions, SQL, processes. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. i.e. Excel, Access, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint. Microsoft Office365 hands on experience with Flow setup a plus. Intermittent to advanced accounting experience in analytics, metrics, and KPI a plus. Experience leading system implementations. Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools is a plus Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. Strong attention to detail. In-depth knowledge of HR systems, reporting, data, and future trends and best practices. Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations and effective problem-solving capabilities. Aptitude for learning new technologies and trends. Self-starter with ability to work with little direction and produce results. Education Bachelor's Degree (Required) Will accept 6 years of HRIS experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
