Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS management, with a strong understanding of HR data systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience with SOX compliance, controls, and audit processes particularly in a Human Resources context.
  • Strong knowledge of UKG platforms and experience with system administration and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and security.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • HRIS Management:
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the HRIS, ensuring it meets organizational needs.
  • Build and maintain reporting and analytic needs to enable business leaders to review data in real time through reports and dashboards using custom reports and validations, condition rules, and calculated fields.
  • Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Work closely with IT, HR, and other departments to ensure system functionality and integration across platforms.
  • Ensure HR data is accurate, accessible, and secure across all systems.
  • Manage reporting capabilities, ensuring metrics and data are easily accessible and actionable.
  • SOX Compliance Oversight:
  • Lead and manage the SOX compliance program as it relates to HR systems and processes.
  • Ensure that all HR-related processes and controls meet SOX compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with the internal audit team to identify, assess, and document key controls over HR processes.
  • Maintain documentation for all controls and ensure ongoing testing and monitoring.
  • Ensure the proper segregation of duties in HRIS access and controls.
  • Ensure that HRIS meets all data privacy and security standards in line with organizational policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of SOX audit documentation and work with external auditors during reviews.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization:
  • Regularly review and recommend improvements to HR systems and processes to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy.
  • Lead process mapping efforts for HR workflows in line with SOX requirements.
  • Training & Support:
  • Provide ongoing training for HR team members and system users to ensure proper system usage and compliance.
  • Offer support and guidance for troubleshooting HRIS-related issues.
