Job Description
The HRIS Senior Associate is responsible for defining, managing, and delivering specific Talent Management System products or features. They report to the Global HRIS Lead and are attuned to the voice of the Groupe Talent Team (key stakeholder). They work closely with various teams including Groupe HRIS IT and HR Power users, primarily supporting the Groupe Talent Management and Leadership to ensure that the Talent Management system meets the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering: They gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders and Power users to determine the features, functionalities and other requirements needed in the Talent Management system.
Product Roadmap: They develop and manage the product roadmap, outlining the evolution of the product over time with a focus on maximizing business value.
Vendor Management: They work closely with the product vendor to drive product roadmap, understand upcoming features, and participate in vendor meetings as needed.
Stakeholder Management: They manage and communicate with stakeholders regularly to keep them informed of progress and to manage expectations. They communicate via a consultative approach.
Backlog Prioritization: They prioritize the product backlog based on the needs of the business, the value of the features, and the capacity of the development team.
Team Collaboration: They work closely with the Development and Support Teams to ensure that the product is being developed as per the requirements, provides the needed value, and the teams are knowledgeable and able to identify and trouble-shoot issues.
Compliance: They ensure that the product is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to data privacy and security and ensure the tool meets accessibility requirements.
Testing: They thoroughly test the product prior to production deployment to ensure high product quality.
Product Delivery: They oversee the delivery of the product, ensuring it meets quality standards and fulfills the defined requirements.
User Training: They play a key role in ensuring Power Users are trained how to use the system, and contribute to the development of appropriate training materials, process guides and other supporting collateral.
Continuous Improvement: They continuously collect feedback and monitor the performance of the product, then use this information to make improvements.
Agile Development: They work using agile principles to continuously deliver new functionality to delight Power Users and ultimately employees, the end users. They also work closely with Groupe HRIS IT team to ensure any integrations between systems are functioning as expected.
Qualifications
Minimum 4-5 years of systems product management experience preferably in the Talent Management (HRIS) space.
Excellent communication skills, to a strong business standard in English, both written and verbal, are essential. Capability with another language, particularly French or Spanish would be considered an advantage
