We’re seeking a seasoned Dayforce HRIS Specialist to join our team at a pivotal moment. Following our recent Dayforce implementation, we need a technical expert who can optimise our system, resolve complex challenges, and drive continuous improvement. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of our HRIS platform while directly impacting the experience of thousands of healthcare professionals.
What you will do

Lead System Excellence

  • Own the Dayforce platform as our primary subject matter expert, driving configuration, maintenance, and optimization strategies
  • Transform post-implementation challenges into opportunities for system enhancement and business value
  • Maintain system integrity through proactive audits, updates, and preventive maintenance
  • Manage multiple environments (production, test, development) ensuring seamless change control and data integrity

Solve Complex Challenges

  • Diagnose and resolve sophisticated technical issues with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to implement sustainable fixes that prevent recurring issues
  • Develop innovative solutions that enhance system stability and user experience
  • Manage and prioritize the system ticket desk, providing functional solutions to business users

Drive Business Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with our People & Culture team to translate business needs into powerful Dayforce configurations
  • Support payroll operations with framework design, automation opportunities, and compliance assurance
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, user guides, and training materials
  • Lead system release planning with thorough testing and stakeholder communication

Deliver Proactive Support

  • Anticipate system needs before they become issues, maintaining a service-first approach
  • Enable smooth day-to-day HRIS operations across the organization
  • Provide technical guidance that empowers users at all levels
  • Champion continuous improvement and efficiency gains

What You’ll Bring

Essential Expertise

  • Deep Dayforce mastery: Extensive hands-on experience with platform configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
  • Technical excellence: Strong understanding of Dayforce architecture, capabilities, and integration possibilities
  • Proven independence: Track record of successfully managing HRIS platforms with minimal supervision
  • Problem-solving prowess: Exceptional ability to diagnose complex issues and develop practical, sustainable solutions
  • Communication skills: Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
  • Collaborative approach: Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams including P&C, IT, and vendors
  • Structured execution: Ability to prioritize, scope work independently, and deliver visible, trackable results
  • Attention to detail: Reliable, accountable approach with commitment to accuracy

Valued Additional Skills

  • Experience with payroll remediation projects in Dayforce
  • Knowledge of HR business process implementation in HRIS systems
  • System integration and data migration expertise
  • Dayforce or relevant HRIS certifications
