Description

The primary role of the HRIS Specialist is to maintain data integrity within our HR systems. Responsibilies include, but not limited to: entering and maintaing HR information in the HRIS systems, including new hires, status changes, ESS/MSS events, auditing HR data to ensure complaince and data integrity. The HRIS Specialist provides assistance to users of HR applications via phone and/or email and regularly interacts with HRIS Manager and HRIS Analyst to ensure HR application stability and data integrity.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate, Vocational, or Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 1-2 years experience; Prefer knowledge and understanding of HRIS modules including HR, Payroll, Benefits and/or Time Management. Business and Systems Analysis is a bonus.

  • Experience with MS Excel and/or report query tools.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to work independently as well as posses effective collaboration skills to work well as part of a team.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Responsibilities
  • Assists with centralized data entry and maintence of the HR information within the HRIS and related systems, including general administrative, analytical and data input tasks. Monitors day-to-day use of HR sustems and workflows to maintain complaince with regulatory guidelines to ensure data integrity; complies timely and accrute data by running audit reports and resolving data errors.
  • Uses functional and system knowledge to provide assistance with HR, Payroll, and related applications to resolve HR transactional processing problems. Assists with creating internal training tools and process documentation to support HR systems. Develops and documents standard work procedures to ensure the integrity and consistency of HR data practices. Interfaces with Ruan team members to resolve any issues or questions that arise.
  • Production Support - Works with HRIS Analyst to provide support for HR applications that includes understanding and monitoring dependencies of adjacent HR systems.
  • Reports / Data Queries - Works with HR Teams and Organization Leaders to create, maintain and deliver a variety of reports utilizing ADP’s Reporting Tool (ADPR). Responsible for keeping existing reports up to date and compliant based on input from HR teams. Uses discretion and judgement to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Project Support - Assists HRIS team to establish high quality, high value relationships with business partners and provide guidance for problem solving and working on HR projects as needed
