Reporting to the HSE Manager, the HSE Administrator is based in the Calgary Office on a Monday to Friday basis.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Monitor and update the District Safety Training and Events Calendar.
  • Conduct Monthly Safety Report.
  • Identify trends through leading and lagging indicators and prepare reports.
  • Track and prepare reports for leadership engagement.
  • Track and file incident reports, employee training needs and records.
  • Attend bi-weekly HSE team meetings and attend/assign any required HSE/First Aid training.
  • Assist in the development of Project Specific HSE plans.
  • Assist the Chair of the JWHS committee as needed.
  • Arrange for annual safety equipment and PPE certifications.
  • Order, issue, track PPE.
  • Ensure office ERP and posting board up to date.
  • Will compete and maintain the ACSA Auditor training.
  • Responsible to assist with COR audits.
  • Facilitate Bird/Nason Onboarding Orientation as required.
  • Assist in other administrative duties as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • HSE Administrator Certificate or NCSO is considered an asset.
  • Experience within the construction industry is considered an asset.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft, Excel
  • Highly organized
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
