Job Details Job Location: TEXAS - SHADY GROVE - GRAND PRAIRIE, TX Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 2 Year Degree Salary Range: $28.00 - $33.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Job Category: Admin - Clerical Description Position Summary The Safety Administrator supports the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team in promoting a culture of safety across all FABco operations. This role provides administrative, reporting, and compliance support to ensure FABco meets OSHA, federal, state, and client safety requirements. The Safety Administrator works closely with HSE Representatives, HR, and operational leadership to manage safety programs, coordinate training, track compliance, and assist with incident case management. Program Administration Maintain, update, and distribute FABco’s Safety Manual, HSE Handbook, and safety policies in alignment with OSHA standards (Construction and General Industry) Assist in developing and scheduling HSE meetings, training, evaluations, and safety presentations Track, monitor, and report employee training records, ensuring certifications are current and scheduling renewals before expiration Prepare and maintain medical loss-run reports, safety metrics, and related documentation for management review Compliance & Reporting Ensure all projects submit Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Toolbox Talks, inspections, safety meeting reports, and observations Support HSE Reps in preparing and maintaining Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) for new projects Audit safety documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance Generate reports for leadership as needed Incident & Case Management Assist with incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis, lessons learned, and documentation Track and follow up on employee appointments related to workplace injuries in coordination with HSE Reps and HR Work with clinics, insurance adjusters, and case managers to ensure timely reporting and resolution Maintain accurate case management logs and follow through on corrective actions Communication & Coordination Serve as an information link between HSE Reps, HR, operations, and senior leadership Follow up with HSE Reps on safety documentation and clinic visit information Provide support to employees, supervisors, and field leadership regarding safety processes and compliance requirements Participate in HSE team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Continuous Improvement Identify potential risks and recommend proactive solutions based on safety observations, incident data, and trend analysis Support workplace violence prevention initiatives and other emerging safety programs Assist with the development and rollout of new safety initiatives, tools, and technologies Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in safety administration, compliance, or related field; construction industry experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1926 & 1910) and industry best practices OSHA 30 Certification preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software; ability to generate reports and analyze data Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information Physical and ADA-Friendly Requirements Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting/standing) for extended periods of time Ability to move throughout office and field environments, including walking, standing, bending, and navigating uneven surfaces, with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to visually inspect documents, digital screens, and field environments, with or without corrective devices Must be able to hear and communicate effectively, with or without assistive devices Occasionally lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds Regular travel to field job sites required
