Anderson Knight is currently recruiting for a proactive and experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join a leading civil engineering business. This site-based role is pivotal in supporting project teams by embedding a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and driving continuous improvement across all activities.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in HSE within the civil engineering or construction sector, along with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certifications: NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely (minimum). Additional qualifications such as HAZOP, Construction H&S, or ISO 45001 are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an HSE advisory role, preferably within civil engineering or construction environments.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence site teams. Confident in delivering training and promoting safety culture at all levels.
