Ready to make a real difference in workplace safety? We’re looking for a proactive and experienced HSE Advisor to join our passionate team at Liebherr Australia.
In this key role, you’ll be at the forefront of building and maintaining a strong safety culture across our LAP branch and multiple operational sites. You’ll work closely with supervisors and frontline teams providing hands-on support, driving safe practices, and leading continuous improvement initiatives in health, safety, and environmental performance.

QUALIFICATIONS & LICENCES (PREFERRED)

  • Diploma (or equivalent) in Work Health and Safety
  • ICAM Lead Investigator Certification
  • Certificate in Rehabilitation & Return to Work
  • 1-3 years’ HSE experience in mining/resources or other high-risk industries
  • White Card
Responsibilities

As the go-to expert for all things HSE, you will

  • Coach and mentor teams on HSE compliance aligned with the LAS HSES Management System.
  • Lead projects and initiatives that lift safety performance and culture across projects.
  • Support the implementation of safe systems of work, risk assessments, and critical risk management.
  • Conduct ICAM investigations and ensure timely corrective action follow-through.
  • Deliver engaging inductions and operationally relevant HSE trainings
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and systems reviews to ensure compliance and certification.
  • Drive effective communication through toolbox talks, safety updates, and active on-site engagement.
  • Analyse HSE data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support injury management and return-to-work programs.
  • Contribute to the delivery of LAS’s national HSES strategy and improvement initiatives
