SMG seeks an HSE Advisor - Owner's Rep in Indianapolis, Indiana. The HSE Advisor will coordinate contractor work, conduct additional field audits, and support the HSE team’s efforts. Overview of Job Responsibilities Complete contractor onboarding training. Collaborate with contractors to refine the scope of work, assist them in completing risk assessments, and issue work permits for specialized contractors. Conduct field audits on work permit compliance. Review equipment-specific instructions for lockout. Administer annual employee knowledge checks on lockout/tagout. Evaluate ongoing lockout/tagouts in the field. Support emergency response coordination. Coordinate signage needs across the site. Aid in supply and PPE management. Assist with confined space entries. Provide help with other HSE tasks as requested. Requirements More than three years of construction safety experience. Three-plus years of experience managing teams and departments, overseeing program execution, and holding program ownership. Degree in safety or related fields. Previous experience in safety leadership. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course.
