We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated HSE Advisor to join our team on site at Kwinana and play a key role in promoting a safety-first culture on-site while supporting the successful delivery of our projects. About the Role As a vital member of our Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) team, you will be responsible for providing site-based leadership, developing HSSE systems, and ensuring compliance with our rigorous health and safety standards. Reporting directly to the Project Manager and Site Superintendent, you will help create a safe, productive work environment, where health and safety are paramount. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: · Implementing UGL’s Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability Management System (HSEMS) across the site. · Providing expert support to clients, contractors, and sub-contractors, ensuring professional collaboration and communication. · Driving compliance with the project HSSE Management Plan and ensuring adherence to all company policies and standards. · Managing and delivering post-mobilisation training, including comprehensive site inductions. · Participating in HSSE assurance activities, including inspections, audits, and emergency response exercises. · Preparing site toolbox and prestart communication packs for supervisors. · Delivering induction training and awareness campaigns to employees as required. · Providing strategic input into the HSSE activities planner and ensuring timely updates to training systems and data. · Maintaining accurate tracking and records of injury cases and incidents, ensuring proper classification and reporting. · Producing detailed daily, weekly, monthly, and annual HSSE reports. · Supporting the creation of an organisational culture that prioritises health, safety, and environmental best practices. What You'll Bring to the Role: · Exposure to the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries, with a willingness to learn about Operations Maintenance or Brownfields environments. · A high level of passion and motivation for HSSE and the confidence to intervene whenever necessary to uphold safe work practices. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels. · A Diploma or higher qualification in a Health, Safety, or Environmental-related discipline. · Strong skills with the MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Pivot Tables experience desirable). · Sound knowledge of relevant OHSE laws, regulations, and frameworks. · Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality HSSE documentation and strategic input to plans and solutions.
