You will join a supportive established team where you will be hands‑on in this high visibility role, focused on building capability, uplifting safety behaviours, and ensuring strong compliance with internal standards and external regulations. What You’ll Do Champion leader led safety and engage closely with the shop floor across all shifts. Conduct and support risk assessments, hazard reviews and safety improvement initiatives. Provide guidance & support to assist in driving key Risk Programs against Global HSE Standards & Green Pathways Program Deliver mandatory and compliance training, including development of engaging HSE content. Support internal and external audits, ISO14001 activities and environmental compliance. Guide line leaders through incident investigations (root cause / ICAM) and drive HOC informed corrective actions. Maintain accurate HSE reporting, dashboards, data analysis and insights for leadership forums. Assist with workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work processes (support function only). Strengthen contractor management, inductions and compliance assurance. Build strong, trust‑based relationships across all levels of the site to influence safe behaviours. About You You will have relevant Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or equivalent 7–10 years’ HSE experience, ideally within manufacturing (plastics, heavy manufacturing, FMCG, building materials, construction) Strong capability in risk management, governance and behavioural‑based safety with exposure to psychosocial risk management. Experienced supporting self‑insurance environments (highly desirable). Skilled with WHS management systems and risk programs (myCority preferred but not essential). Organised with excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build strong relationships to partner with key stakeholders. Are approachable, collaborative and able to actively listen to resolve conflict, as well support, encourage, motivate and direct employees re HSE issues. Experienced with reporting and safety metrics and computer literate using Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint. ICAM or similar incident investigation training (desirable). Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable). Why join us? We care ….
