Description
JASARA PMC is currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic HSE Director to join our team. As the HSE Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall health, safety, and environmental strategies and programs across all our projects. You will lead a team of HSE professionals and work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. JASARA PMC is a renowned project management company in the civil engineering industry. With a strong commitment to delivering high-quality projects and prioritizing safety, we strive to make a positive impact on the communities we serve. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures in line with local and international standards. Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals in providing guidance and support to project teams. Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations across projects. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement. Oversee incident investigations and the implementation of corrective actions. Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and stakeholders. Provide HSE training and develop awareness programs for employees. Monitor and report on HSE performance and identify areas for improvement. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 20 years of experience in a similar HSE leadership role, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices. Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE strategies, policies, and programs and delivering exceptional standards on a large-scale Construction Giga Program Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Professional certifications in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred. Experience in managing a team and working collaboratively across different departments. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
