REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Mandatory Certifications: NEBOSH IGC + SARS Certified.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an HSE Engineer in UAE construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor law, HSE regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Experience in civil, MEP, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and mentor site personnel effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HSE management software.
• Fluency in English (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage).

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly qualified HSE Engineer with proven UAE construction experience. The ideal candidate will hold NEBOSH IGC certification along with SARS certification, ensuring full compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations across all project sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with UAE laws and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and other UAE regulatory bodies.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Provide HSE induction and training to staff, subcontractors, and site workers.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports as per ISO and UAE safety standards.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and compliance with safe working practices.
• Assist in preparing and implementing Emergency Response Plans.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance initiatives.
