Description
Implement and Maintain company HSE policy, procedures and the project HSE plan. Conduct HSE awareness sessions, Toolbox talks to workforce under his project on daily basis. Ensures that all PTW required works conducting regarding Company PTW procedures Ensure that all HSE risk assessment control measures are performed in a proper way Inspect the project under his authority regularly in daily basis to ensure that all works conducted in a safe way Reporting any incidents that happens in his project such as: Unsafe acts, Unsafe conditions, Near-misses or Accidents Has a right to stop unsafe works or nonconformity works against project HSE plan, company procedures or HSE standards Supervise and lead the subcontractors HSE officers. · Bachelor’s degree or certification related to the field. · Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience working within a similar position preferably with exposure to construction or engineering services. · NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent). · Relevant experience of ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001. · OSHA General and Construction Industries. · Firefighting and First Aid certification. · Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Arabic. · Ability to work in a fast pace, results-oriented, matrix environment under minimal supervision. · Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. · TAQA approved HSE Engineer
Responsibilities
The HSE Engineer is responsible for implementing company HSE policies, conducting daily safety awareness sessions, and performing regular site inspections. They must also manage PTW procedures, lead subcontractor HSE officers, and report all incidents including near-misses and unsafe conditions.
