Description
JASARA PMC is currently on the lookout for a proactive and experienced HSE Engineer to join our dynamic team. The HSE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing and managing health, safety, and environmental safeguards across all projects. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and review health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Provide training to employees on health and safety policies and procedures. Monitor the effectiveness of HSE programs and suggest improvements where necessary. Keep up to date with changes in HSE legislation and standards. Prepare and maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a health, safety, and environmental role, preferably in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices. Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in conducting audits and risk assessments. Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail. Relevant certifications like NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are advantageous.
