TERNA S.A., member of GEK TERNA Group, is currently looking for a: HSE Engineer (Microsoft Data Center) Role Responsibilities: Monitors the implementation of the Project HSE Plan/System Conducts regular workplace inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Supervises the appropriate and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ensures that appropriate safety equipment is available to all personnel, that it is inspected on a regular basis and replaced as required Implements safety rules according to the requirements in the worksite and as per recommendation of the HSE plan Develops Work Method Statements when needed Informs Project Director in case of nonconformity and ensures that all the corrective actions defined by the Project Director are implemented Conducts regular staff trainings about occupational hazards in order to avoid accidents at work sites Investigates accidents at work sites and proposes appropriate actions in collaboration with Health and Safety Head Department Prepares monthly reports regarding Project HSE activities and relevant issues Requirements: Degree in Civil or E/M Engineering At least 2 years of working experience as an HSE Engineer in the construction sector In-depth knowledge of the national legislation for the safety at work and the relevant national environmental legislation will be considered an asset Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written) Good knowledge of MS Office Suite Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Great attention to detail and good analytical skills Ability to multi-task and manage various projects Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
The HSE Engineer is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Project HSE Plan, conducting regular workplace inspections, and supervising the correct use of personal protective equipment. This role also involves informing management of nonconformities and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
