Job Description • Under direct supervision, performs basic and routine duties in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with the ES&H standards along with federal and state regulatory requirements. • Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures. • Assists in monitoring hazards and diseases that could be present in the work area. • Works with others to investigate accidents, injuries and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace. • Participates in recommending improvement in processes, design, procedures and equipment to minimize hazards. • Participates in employee training, emergency preparedness and assures the quality of programs. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in civil infrastructure projects, including: Sewerage line construction Stormwater drainage networks Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) Pumping stations and utility infrastructure works Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards. Experience in excavation safety, confined space work, utility diversions, and heavy equipment operations. Excellent communication and reporting skills.
