We’re looking for an experienced HSE Management System Lead to shape and drive safety standards across Centrica. As the HSE Management System Lead, you will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of Safety Standards across the organisation. Working collaboratively with all our business units, you’ll help embed a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
This role is essential in ensuring compliance with regulations, mitigating risk, and fostering a proactive, prevention-focused working environment—where safety is integral to every process and decision.

LEADERSHIP AND STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT

• Regularly report to the executive team on safety performance, incidents, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with HSE Directors and external organisations to stay informed of emerging safety practices and to drive strategic improvements across Centrica.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a Safety Management Systems role
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
• Experience of working with regulatory bodies such as HSE
