Job Description Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, SOPs, and emergency response procedures specific to data center operations. Conduct regular risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and method statements for all critical activities. Lead incident investigations, implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor incident trends. Monitor compliance with OSHA/local regulatory standards, corporate HSE policies, and ISO requirements (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001). Ensure safe work practices around high‑risk equipment such as UPS, generators, battery rooms, CRAC/CRAH units, and electrical distribution systems. Ensure compliance with environmental permits, reporting, and audits. Deliver HSE training for employees, vendors, and contractors (LOTO, confined space, electrical safety, emergency response, chemical handling, etc.). Conduct safety onboarding for new hires and third‑party contractors. Oversee contractor safety during maintenance, fit‑out, and construction activities. Review contractors’ safety documentation and method of procedures (MOPs). Conduct regular HSE inspections of data halls, mechanical/electrical rooms, rooftop equipment, and construction zones. Coordinate internal and external audits; manage follow‑up actions. Maintain documentation and records for compliance purposes. Prepare HSE performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management. Maintain incident logs, risk registers, MOP/SOP documentation, training records, permits, and audit reports. Lead regulatory reporting and liaison with local authorities when required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar. Minimum 8-10 years of HSE experience; preferably in data center, high‑tech manufacturing, or mission‑critical facilities. Green Book Certification Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead safety culture in a high‑pressure, mission‑critical environment.
