OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Health Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with environmental health regulations and promoting safety within the workplace. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental policies, occupational health standards, and safety regulations. You will play a key role in fostering a safe and healthy work environment through training, monitoring, and reporting.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in environmental health, safety management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and procedures is preferred.
  • Experience in report writing that communicates findings clearly and effectively.
  • Training in first aid, CPR, OSHA standards, and occupational health is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.
  • implement health and safety programs focused on occupational health and environmental protection.
  • Perform root cause analysis for incidents and accidents, providing actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings from inspections, investigations, and audits.
  • Provide training and development sessions for employees on health and safety practices, including first aid and CPR.
  • Monitor workplace conditions to identify potential hazards related to manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding environmental health concerns and best practices.
