Safety, reliability and operational excellence are at the core of everything we do — and we’re now looking for an experienced HSE Manager to help lead and embed a strong safety culture across LFIP. Job Description About this opportunity Reporting to the General Manager – LFIP, the HSE Manager plays a key leadership role in implementing Pact Group’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) strategy across multiple LFIP sites. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders, site managers and HSE teams to drive safety excellence, ensure regulatory compliance and deliver continuous improvement. You’ll also be a member of the One Pact HSE Council, contributing to Group‑wide HSE governance, policy, systems and capability uplift. This is a high‑impact role with 3 direct reports and genuine influence across the business. Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead and execute the Pact Group HSE strategy within the LFIP segment Drive a strong, proactive safety culture through leadership coaching and engagement Identify, assess and manage operational risks, with a strong focus on critical risk areas (machinery safety, LOTO, traffic management, chemicals, working at heights) Ensure compliance with WHS and environmental legislation through audits, inspections and assurance activities Act as the key HSE interface with regulatory authorities (e.g. WorkSafe, EPA) Lead the management and investigation of high‑risk and notifiable incidents Develop, implement and improve HSE systems, procedures and training programs Provide hands‑on coaching and capability building to site leaders and HSE teams Deliver clear, insightful HSE reporting to senior leaders Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Extensive knowledge of Australian WHS and environmental legislation Proven experience in a senior HSE leadership role within manufacturing, industrial or similar environments Strong leadership, coaching and change‑management capability Experience working with HSE management systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001) Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills The ability to drive cultural change and continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or similar Postgraduate qualifications in HSE or Risk Management (desirable) Professional membership (e.g. AIHS) advantageous Additional Information Why Join Us?
