We are proudly part of Japan Post — www.tollgroup.com We’re looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives at our Laverton Chemicals site. This is a critical role driving proactive implementation and continuous improvement of HSE strategies, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence. What you’ll do: Implement and maintain the HSEQ Global Management System. Develop and review site HSE plans aligned with business objectives. Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations using ICAM or similar methodologies. Provide expert HSE advice, training, and support to business leaders and teams. Manage TRAC reporting and compliance, ensuring accurate data and timely corrective actions. Coordinate emergency preparedness and business continuity activities. Engage with internal stakeholders and customers to promote HSE excellence. Champion Toll’s “Safety Obsessed” cultural change program. More about you: Experience: 5–7 years in HSE roles, ideally within petrochemicals and major hazard facilities. Knowledge: Strong understanding of HSE legislation, standards (AS4801, OHSAS18001, ISO14001), and risk management. Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, site investigation experience, and audit capabilities. Qualifications: Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (mandatory); tertiary HSE qualifications and Dangerous Goods training (desirable).
