Description

Performance of duties as a safety specialist in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ASiG), including organization of the occupational safety committee (ASA)
Responsible specialist for all HSE (environment, health, safety) topics at our production site in Worms
Machine and plant safety: Assessment of protective devices, participation in hazard assessments, safe fault rectification (LOTO), support for new construction and modifications (CE conformity, German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health)
Appointment as environmental officer with responsibility for the environmental areas of air pollution control, water protection, waste management and hazardous materials management
Release of new hazardous substances (e.g., paints, solvents) before initial use, hazard assessments according to the Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV), and control of workplace and emission measurements.
Conducting approval procedures and monitoring compliance with conditions arising from approval notices, in particular the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG).
Investigation of accidents and near misses, including root cause analysis and the derivation and follow-up of corrective actions (CAPA)
Training and raising employee awareness of safety and environmental issues to promote a proactive safety culture
Recording and detailed reporting of monthly KPIs, as well as active participation in international projects in coordination with Group HSE and topic-specific tasks
