Compliance & Certification Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for Kenyan regulatory bodies, specifically DOSHS and NEMA. International Standards: Maintain and uphold Rainforest Alliance certification and ISO 45001/14001 standards, ensuring Tatu Coffee remains a leader in the international specialty market. Policy Implementation: Ensure full implementation of all Kenyan and international safety regulations, aligning farm-level plans with Rendeavour’s corporate HSE policies. 4. Field Engagement: Facilitate regular "safety stand-downs" and daily toolbox talks to foster a proactive safety culture within the agricultural workforce. 5. Environmental & Waste Management Resource Stewardship: Supervise on-site environmental initiatives such as water recycling and reforestation. Waste Disposal: Implement responsible waste disposal systems to minimize the ecological footprint of coffee processing. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive HSE experience in a busy coffee or tea farm safety management environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related Engineering field.
