JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable HSE Manager to lead our health, safety, and environmental initiatives. In this role, you’ll ensure our fabrication shop operates safely, complies with environmental regulations, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. You will partner with leadership and shop-floor staff to prevent accidents, reduce environmental impact, and maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

SKILLS

  • 3+ years of HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective safety and environmental training.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • OSHA 30 and/or environmental compliance certification.
  • Experience with welding, CNC, or other metal fabrication processes.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs tailored to fabrication operations.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, industry best practices, and internal safety requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and workplace inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations, document findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Deliver engaging safety training, toolbox talks, and new-hire safety orientations.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture with open communication and hazard reporting
  • Ensure compliance with EPA and state environmental regulations regarding waste management, emissions, and hazardous materials.
  • Oversee proper storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals and waste products.
  • Track and report environmental performance metrics; recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate spill prevention and response planning.
  • Work with leadership to identify opportunities for energy efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Develop, update, and lead emergency response plans for fire, chemical spills, medical incidents, and severe weather.
  • Ensure emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, spill kits, first aid stations) is available and maintained.
