Lead Global Safety – We are looking for an HSE Manager to join our HSE team We are looking for a Manager, HSE (Health, Safety and Environment), in Global Supply , securing health, safety, environmental and social responsibility standards are upheld across the location. We are seeking a dynamic team player who takes strong responsibility in achieving world-class HSE performance. Location is in Jyväskylä. In this position, you will be required to Develop, implement and evaluate HSE policies and processes and HSE leadership capabilities of own responsibility area Develop and implement the organization's HSE processes and projects Responsible for processes related to assurance and ISO standard implementation Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, and liaise with technical specialists and external health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence. Direct a variety of HSE activities and initiatives to ensure that the organization's current and future HSE requirements are met. Coordinate the education and training of the organization's workforce on HSE to ensure that they understand and comply with the organization's policies and standards. To succeed in this role, you will need: B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or other scientific fields. Professional HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH, CSP, or similar will be considered an asset. Minimum 7 years’ experience in muti-cultural customer project and site HSE work out of which minimum 4 years in Management roles. Proactive and flexible team leadership and people management skills. Incident investigation skills. Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices and multi-site ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 management system standards, as well as internal auditing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English. Other languages are merited. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office-Suite, Power BI, M-Files, Sharepoint and Teams.
