Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment while ensuring compliance with local and international HSE regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and develop preventive measures to avoid future occurrences Provide HSE training and education to employees at all levels of the organization Monitor and ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian HSE regulations and international standards Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and statistics for management review Collaborate with various departments to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of operations Manage and implement environmental management systems to minimize the organization's environmental impact Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends to continuously improve the organization's HSE performance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field Minimum 15 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in a similar industry Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, particularly those applicable in Saudi Arabia Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HSE management software Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
