Description
Accountability: * Prevention of ill health, injury and accidents at work place. * Periodical review of HSE plans and implementing controls at work site. * Control of subcontractors and reporting their OH&S performance. * Risk assessments and corrective action monitoring. * Taking corrective actions on OH&S findings.   Responsibility:  * Developing HSE plan and risk assessment based on site conditions * Review HSE plan and develop control measures to take action on risks * Conduct risk assessment based on changes and ensure tool, box talk  * Review  safety requirements through daily safety walk around and report to HSE manager   * Implement permit to work system and issue permits for critical activities  * Management of subcontractor through proper selection, training and control  * Review of sub contractors performance on upholding safety standard  * Review and implementation of standard HSE policies and programme * Conduct consultation and participation programme  * Managing HSE statistics and report the dashboard to Top management  * Conduct inspection and internal audit to measure effectiveness of control measures  * Update legal register and ensure implementation of legal requirement in areas of activities  * Encourage staffs to report near misses and promote safety culture by highlighting safe HSE culture  * Conduct accident and incident investigation and prepare FIR and investigation  * report and communicate control measures  * Conduct CAPA analysis and review the process performance after implementation  of control measures    Educational Qualification / Certification * Bachelor's Degree  / Diploma * NEBOSH IGC Certified * Valid UAE Driving License Founded in 1971, the Al Shirawi Group has been serving people & industry for the last five decades. Responsibilities
The HSE Officer is responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental plans, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring site compliance. They will manage subcontractors, perform daily safety inspections, and lead accident investigations to maintain a safe work culture.
