IMEP Engineering & Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced and proactive HSE Officer to join our team in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and project requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe working environment across project sites.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain HSE documentation, risk assessments, method statements, inspection reports, and permits.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Handle HSE requirements and documentation for project approvals and submissions.
  • Preferred experience in handling Dubai Airport HSE/approval procedures and required documentation.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, site inspections, safety inductions, and safety awareness programs.
  • Identify potential risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Take initiative and make responsible, practical decisions in the best interest of the company and project.
  • Support the team in maintaining the company's professional reputation, safety standards, and client relationships.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision, manage multiple tasks, and perform effectively under pressure.

Candidate Requirements:

  • UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HSE Officer, preferably within MEP, construction, or contracting companies.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE requirements and construction safety practices.
  • Experience with Dubai Airport projects/approvals will be a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Advanced thinker, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • Capable of taking ownership and making sound decisions when required.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Immediate joiners are preferred.
