Description

The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies in the workplace, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards to create a safe and hazard-free work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in HSE roles (preferably in [Construction/Oil & Gas/Manufacturing, etc.]).
  • Knowledge of HSE standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, local labor laws).
  • Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct safety training sessions and risk assessments.
  • UAE/GCC experience and a valid driving license (if applicable) are preferred.
    Job Types: Full-time, Contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: AED2,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits at worksites.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedures and training programs.
  • Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near-misses, recommending preventive measures.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by leading toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness campaigns.
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, including permits, reports, and safety records.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies and participate in HSE audits and inspections.
  • Assist in emergency response planning, drills, and training programs.
  • Provide HSE reports and updates to management.
