ABOUT THE ROLE:

In our efforts to continually improve, we are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Officer for implementing, developing, and monitoring our corporate health & safety and environmental systems, policies, processes, and procedures. The HSE Officer is a strategic position that is key to enhancing our HSE performance.
In this role, you will become part of the Risk & Business Assurance team. The Risk & Business Assurance team is a globally oriented team that oversees risk management and business assurance activities in the areas of enterprise risk, business continuity, compliance management, health, safety and environment, sustainability (ESG), information security, and quality management (QHSE systems).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the global health & safety and environmental management systems (ISO45001, ISO14001).
• Ownership of company policies and standards for HSE and deployment of these to the global organization.
• Continual improvement of the HSE culture within the global organization.
• Lead the prevention committee to drive preventive actions and support the organization globally.
• Lead the emergency response organization as (strategic) head of emergency response.
• Coordinate, monitor, and follow-up of HSE incident reports (accidents, near-miss, unsafe situations).
• Identify, monitor, and implement relevant standards and regulations concerning HSE.
• Lead and conduct internal audits and host external audits relevant to the HSE management systems.
• Collaborate with all levels of the organization on enhance our HSE performance.
