Job Description Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring all personnel have required safety training and equipment. Investigate accidents and incidents, providing recommendations for prevention and promoting a culture of safety awareness. Maintain and review the Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure alignment with best practices, legislative changes, and ISO standards (45001, 9001, and 14001). Support and mentor management and stakeholders in implementing HSE requirements, ensuring compliance with Workplace Health Safety and Environmental legislation. Manage incidents and injuries, including coordinating medical appointments and maintaining electronic safety records. Identify and promote best practices in QHSE compliance and management. Qualifications Minimum Cert IV in Health and Safety Practical experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing Ability to interpret and apply WHS legislation Strong communication skills with stakeholder engagement at all levels Excellent time management and prioritisation skills Proficient in computer skills, including Office 365 Valid Australian driving licence Additional Information As a market leader, Sika Australia understands and recognizes the contribution employees make to the success of our business.
